Health Systems Partnering With Purpose
Supporting the professional development needs of the healthcare workforce leads to higher retention and ultimately better outcomes for patients. This session will share ideas and identify opportunities to open a dialogue with healthcare leaders to foster professional growth through the chapters of organizations including the American College of Healthcare Executives, National Association of Health Service Executives, National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association.
Learning Objectives:
- Create awareness around the organizations that create communities for healthcare professionals
- Demonstrate how creating a sense of belonging can improve retention in the healthcare workplace and the role health leaders can play by fostering connectivity and engagement within these organizations
- Learn how an inclusive workplace ultimately leads to improved patient safety, quality and outcomes
