Biography
Lorie Thibodeaux is a senior manager at one of Dallas-Fort Worth’s largest county hospital systems, specializing in compliance, enterprise-wide initiatives and strategic leadership. She has successfully led high-impact projects, facilitated executive-level discussions and fostered cultures of safety and teamwork in high-risk environments. She is also the founder of Lorie Thibodeaux, LLC, a leadership development and team-building workshop that examines organizational culture through an equity lens.
In 2018, Thibodeaux proposed the Women’s Resource Network, which launched in 2021 as an employee resource group (ERG) focused on engagement, advocacy and diversity. Its success earned a Top 25 Global ERG Award.
A recognized leader in healthcare DEI, Thibodeaux has received numerous accolades in recent years, including the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives (NALHE) Chapter Leader of the Year, Healthcare DEI Champion by Diversity FIRST™, Woman of the Year by the Texas Diversity Council, and inducted into the NALHE Hall of Fame.
Her work has been featured in Fierce Mitu, LinkedIn News and Hispanic Executive. Thibodeaux holds a Master of Health Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia and multiple certifications, including Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3, Healthcare Accreditation Certification Professional (HACP), Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and diversity leadership. She is the founding Past President of NALHE’s DFW Chapter and serves on the NALHE Executive Board. She also founded the National Program La Mesa Emerging Leaders under the NALHE, a program dedicated to supporting early careerists as they transition from school to the workforce.
Additionally, Thibodeaux has served on the ACHE Diversity Committee, is a founding member of the Women Healthcare Executive Network (WHEN), is a past board member for the Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas and sits on the Board of Southwest University. Her career is a testament to her unwavering commitment to leadership, advocacy and advancing diversity and equity in healthcare.
