Tricia J. Johnson, PhD, is associate professor in the Department of Health Systems Management and director of the Center for Health Management and Policy Research at Rush University in Chicago. Her research work has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, Cardinal Health Foundation, Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, the World Bank and Albanian Ministry of Health, and the US Department of Commerce.
