Michael Adcock is executive director, Center for Telehealth, University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson. Prior to joining UMMC, Mr. Adcock was COO for West Jefferson Medical Center in New Orleans, where he oversaw a workforce of more than 600 professional staff and healthcare providers, and managed 18 direct reports. He also served as vice president, operations, Halifax Regional Medical Center in Roanoke Rapids, N.C. Mr. Adcock earned a master’s and bachelor’s degree in nursing from UMMC.
