Biography
Diana TranYu, PharmD, FACHE, is a U.S. Navy Medical Service Corps Lieutenant Commander, currently reporting to the Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. As the deputy for administration, Tran-Yu is responsible for quality, safety and operational initiatives for seven departments (nutrition, facilities, logistics, information technology, patient administration, emergency management and operations).
Formerly, Tran-Yu was attached to the Navy Recruiting Command, Medical and Dental Corps as the program manager for Medical Program Accessions. She has received three Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, two Navy Achievement Medals, two Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medals, a Meritorious Unit Commendation, a Navy Recruiting Ribbon and the Fifth Gold Wreath Award, and she was named the 2016 Navy Recruiting District Houston Medical Officer of the Quarter.
Tran-Yu served on ACHE’s Asian Healthcare Leaders Community Committee from 2017 to 2020 and was a member of the ACHE—Southeast Texas Chapter’s board of directors.
