Biography

Laura M. Gaydos, PhD, is an assistant professor of Health Policy and Management and director of the master of science in public health program at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. Dr. Gaydos’ work focuses on maternal/child health, women’s health, reproductive health, and intersections of religion and public health, areas in which she has many publications. She also has expertise in conducting evaluation and mixed-methods research. Her work has been supported by the Centers for Disease Control, the United States Department of Agriculture, the Georgia Department of Community Health, and numerous private foundations.
