Biography
With a broad background in pharmaceuticals and US healthcare delivery, Greg Olsen has been largely focused on creating value and profitable growth through long-term alliances and collaborations. In his current role within the Organized Provider Account Strategy group at GSK, he enjoys working with leading US health systems and exploring potential mutually beneficial collaborations that are ambitious for patients.
Previously, at a global, vertically integrated renal care organization, Olsen and his teams partnered extensively with hospital systems, acute care organizations, and provider groups through joint venture agreements, contracting and unique projects. More recently, he led the business development function at a private equity backed, national dental group where he stood up a joint venture program and grew the organization through mergers and acquisitions and de novo development. He believes that as healthcare continues to move from fee-for-service and volume-based approaches toward those that are more value based, a partnership mindset and a willingness to collaborate are critical.
