Ari Robicsek is chief medical analytics officer, Providence St. Joseph Health, a healthcare system based in the western U.S. His team is responsible for the system’s Value-Oriented Architecture initiative, which uses sophisticated data science to identify care delivery patterns that improve quality, efficiency and consistency. He also leads efforts regarding data organization and democratization, quality measurement, self-service analytics and care delivery innovation. Dr. Robicsek was previously vice president of clinical analytics at NorthShore University HealthSystem, Evanston, Ill., where he and his team received multiple honors for IT. He has held professorships at prominent Illinois universities, and has authored or co-authored more than 65 academic publications.
