Biography

Andrea Kanter Jacobs, JD, is executive director, operations, at Cleveland Clinic, where she leads initiatives related to strategy, policy, system integration and change, and collaborates with other local anchor institutions to develop inclusive economic development strategies to benefit local communities. She has held several clinical and nonclinical positions of increasing responsibility since joining the health system in 2000. Before joining Cleveland Clinic, Ms. Jacobs was vice president, administration and planning, at Montefiore, Beachwood, Ohio, a not-for-profit health-care organization for seniors in Beachwood, OH. Prior to that, she practiced municipal law for 10 years, having received her JD from Boston University School of Law. She currently serves on the boards of Evergreen Cooperatives, where she is vice chair, and on the board of Jewish Community Housing, both located in Cleveland, Ohio. She is also past-president of the board of Milestones Autism Resources, in Warrensville Heights, Ohio.
