Biography

Thomas Whalen is CMO, Lehigh Valley Health Network, in Allentown, Pa. Dr. Whalen became chairman of the department of surgery at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pa., in September 2006 after 17 years on the faculty of Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He assumed the CMO position at LVHN in April 2011. He retired from the U.S. Naval Reserve in February 2001 after 28 years as a commissioned officer in the medical corps of the regular and Navy reserve.
