Stephen F. Gambescia, PhD, is professor of health services administration in the College of Nursing and Health Professions at Drexel University in Philadelphia. Before working in higher education, he served as a vice president for educational programs for the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association. Dr. Gambescia has 40 years of experience in health promotion, disease prevention, and public health policy research and advocacy.
