Biography

Sherri Neal Crowley is chief diversity officer for HCA Healthcare and is responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of diversity, inclusion, equity and cultural competence strategy and programs.

Since joining the company in 2006, she has been a champion of creating a culture of inclusion through thought leadership, strategic direction and creative business solutions and has worked collaboratively to create initiatives that positively impact policies, practices, processes and people.

Crowley has developed multiple award-winning models that advanced HCA Healthcare's recognition for demonstrating a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. The company received top innovation honors from Profiles in Diversity Journal for the HCA Healthcare Scholars 365 program, BRAVE Conversations program, as well as for Conscious Inclusion training, developed under her leadership. She has a BS from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Science in Sustainable Management also from the University of Wisconsin (Superior).

Crowley is an active community volunteer and has received several recognitions, including Modern Healthcare’s Top 25 Diversity Leaders, the Tri-State Minority Supplier Development Council Champion Award, Tennessee State University’s Women of Legend and Merit Award and the Tennessee Hospital Association Diversity Champion Award. Most recently, she was recognized as “Highly Commended” in the Inclusion & Diversity Leader of the Year award category from World 50’s Inclusion & Diversity Impact Awards.
