Dr. Sandip Godambe is the senior vice president/chief medical officer at Rady Children's Hospital in Orange County where he oversees clinical operations across hospital campuses, ambulatory networks and virtual health programs. He previously served as vice president/chief quality and safety officer at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters Health System and held academic roles in pediatrics. Dr. Godambe earned his MD and PhD from Washington University School of Medicine, completed his pediatric residency at Children's Hospital of Boston/Harvard Medical School, a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and later an MBA focused on healthcare quality. He is also currently an IHI Fellow and Faculty and co-chair of the Child Health Patient Safety Organization.
