Biography
Mr. Rindler's consulting practice is devoted to assisting governing boards and chief executives improve their organizations' leadership and financial performance. He has assisted numerous hospitals, healthcare systems, and Catholic healthcare sponsors restructure their organizations for success.
Prior to founding The Rindler Group, Mr. Rindler served as chief executive officer, chief operating officer, and assistant administrator. Since founding The Rindler Group, he has served as the interim chief executive officer of six hospitals and healthcare systems undergoing leadership transitions, financial turnarounds, or mergers.
Mr. Rindler is an important contributor to the healthcare field. He has previously authored three books on healthcare administration and governance, The Challenge of Exemplary Governance, Managing a Hospital Turnaround, and Putting Patients and Profits into Perspective. In addition, his numerous articles have appeared in major healthcare publications.
Mr. Rindler holds a master of management degree from the Northwestern University Kellogg School and a bachelor of science degree from the University of Illinois. He resides in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, and Southwest Harbor, Maine, with his family.
