Dr. Matthew Tsuei, MD, FACS

Biography
Dr. Matthew Tsuei is a respected general surgeon and president of Central Carolina Surgery in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he leads efforts to enhance operating room efficiency and optimize patient outcomes. Affiliated with both Duke Health and Cone Health, Dr. Tsuei oversees a high-performing surgical practice known for its commitment to quality and innovation within a community healthcare setting.
In addition to his leadership role, Dr. Tsuei serves as a clinical associate in Duke University’s Department of Surgery, where he plays an active role in training future surgeons through a unique residency partnership with Cone Health’s Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Tsuei completed his medical education and residency at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is an active member of several professional surgical societies, where he contributes to advancements in surgical practice and training.
