Marta Karlov is an operational excellence professional with American Family Insurance, Madison, Wis. Ms. Karlov helps design and implement lean deployment roadmaps for organizational culture change. Prior to her current role, she was director of transformation journeys, Catalysis Inc. in Appleton, Wis. She has been on the ACHE faculty since 2015 and is adjunct faculty in the master of business in operational excellent program at Ohio State University. She earned a master’s degree in public health management from Emory University, a certificate in environmental management from Universidad de Los Andes in Bogota, Colombia, and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Illinois—Chicago.
