Biography
During his 36 years as a hospital and medical group C-suite executive, Mark Herzog, FACHE, developed a wide-ranging practice, teaching and mentoring healthcare leaders across the spectrum from academic programs to seasoned leaders from all sectors of the healthcare industry. He is a frequent presenter at the Congress on Healthcare Leadership and has served as faculty at numerous ACHE education programs at the national and local levels. He partners his extensive real-world experience with cutting-edge change management, emotional intelligence and behavioral agility approaches to help individuals and teams achieve transformational results.
Following his CEO career, Herzog served as an adjunct professor in health management and policy and executive in residence at the University of Michigan. He is professor of practice with the Rochester Institute of Technology Health Systems Management Program. Herzog holds a Master of Health Services Administration degree from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Arts from St. Lawrence University.
