Biography
Lynne S. Cunningham has more than 40 years of healthcare experience, including 30 years as a strategic planning and marketing consultant and international speaker on topics focused on strategic communications. She has worked with hospitals, health systems, medical groups, organ procurement organizations and federally qualified healthcare centers in the U.S. and Canada to define, measure and evaluate the perception of quality among patients, employees, physicians and the community. Ms. Cunningham is the author of several books and many journal articles on topics including the impact of patient satisfaction on malpractice exposure, physician involvement in marketing, and marketing best practices in a variety of service lines. Her newest book is Taking Conversations From Difficult to Doable: 3 Models to Master Tough Conversations. She recently retired from Studer Group, where she had been a coach and speaker for 20 years. Prior to that, she held staff administrative positions with Sutter Health and Kaiser Permanente. Ms. Cunningham is board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow.
