Kevin J. Joseph, MD, FACHE, serves as chief clinical officer, Ascension Healthcare. He recently served as TriHealth’s system CMO, and he was a senior vice president of UC Health, where he was responsible for the operations of its three hospitals: University of Cincinnati Medical Center, West Chester Hospital and Drake Hospital. This was preceded by a successful tenure as president/CEO, West Chester Hospital, where he led the executive team in driving the hospital to the top 10th percentile in the country for safety and quality, and the top 5th percentile in the country for patient experience. He has also worked with the FBI, the Secret Service and the Cincinnati SWAT team.

As a lifelong student, he has bachelor's degrees in biomedical engineering, materials science and psychology from Johns Hopkins University. He graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Cincinnati. While practicing emergency medicine, Dr. Joseph received an MBA.

Dr. Joseph is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
