Karen Vanaskie currently serves as the chief clinical officer for Innovation Care Partners. Dr. Vanaskie’s 30 years of experience in healthcare leadership includes clinically integrated health systems, accountable care organizations, inpatient and outpatient settings, home health, multispecialty medical groups, and independent physician associations. She has served in many key leadership roles designing and directing longitudinal care management, quality, outpatient, and post-acute programs. Dr. Vanaskie’s formal education includes earning a baccalaureate degree in the science of nursing, a master’s degree in the science of nursing and a doctorate in nursing practice. Dr. Vanaskie serves as a member at large on the National ACMA board and also serves as chairman of the Area Agency on Aging Board in Phoenix. She also is on the National ACMA Mentor Committee as a mentor to the Northern California and Washington ACMA Chapter boards.
