Jonathon R. B. Halbesleben, PhD, is Dean, Bodenstedt Chair, and Tom C. Frost Distinguished University Chair for Business Excellence of the Alvarez College of Business at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Prior to holding his current position, Dr. Halbesleben held faculty positions at the University of Alabama, University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, University of Missouri, and University of Oklahoma. He is a fellow of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

Dr. Halbesleben has published more than 95 peer-reviewed articles based on his research on stress, burnout, engagement, and work–family relationships. He has received research funding from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, the US Department of Defense, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Dr. Halbesleben received his PhD and MS in industrial/organizational psychology from the University of Oklahoma and his BA in psychology from Winona State University.
