Jennifer Walter is currently the vice chair of Hospital Operations and administrative leader for Equity, Inclusion and Diversity at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She joined Mayo Clinic in 1998 in Human Resources. Most recently, Walter was vice chair of Rochester Primary Care, the enterprise Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center practice, the Employee Assistance Program and Occupational Health Services, where she drove strategic priorities aligned with Mayo's “Bold. Forward.” strategy, including helping set a vision for the next generation of primary care. This included initiating a project to reimagine primary care for employees and their dependents, implementing a digital strategy for primary care and planning and implementing rapid-cycle COVID community response activities. Previously, Walter was vice chair of administration for Mayo Clinic in Southeast Minnesota and Midwest Primary Care. She holds a Master’s of Science in Management from the University of Maryland.
