Biography

A surgeon by training, Jason Pradarelli approaches his work with analytic rigor and strong intuition, keenly attuned to the interpersonal and team dynamics in organizations. Above all things a learner, Pradarelli works with his clients to understand complex problems and resolve the dilemmas that get in the way of organizational excellence. He is particularly passionate about leadership development within organizations, culture change and strategy development and implementation.

A prolific writer and researcher, Pradarelli has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles and has authored several scientific book chapters and commentaries in lay media. He has held fellowships and other positions with a number of distinguished research centers, including Ariadne Labs (Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Brigham and Women’s Hospital), the Center for Healthcare Outcomes and Policy (University of Michigan) and the Dardinger Center for Neuro-Oncology and Neurosciences (Ohio State University). His most recent roles include Medical Director for the Academy for Surgical Coaching (a non-profit dedicated to establishing a national network for surgeons to implement coaching for performance improvement) and leadership coach with Wellesley Partners.

Pradarelli has five years of experience as a general surgery resident at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He earned an MD with Distinction in Research and a Master of Science in Clinical Research, both from the University of Michigan. Pradarelli completed his undergraduate studies at Ohio State University in the Biomedical Science program.
