Biography

Frankie Perry, RN, LFACHE, was a distinguished leader in both nursing and hospital administration. She served as assistant medical center director at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan; executive vice president of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE); and as a national and international healthcare consultant with assignments in Cairo, Egypt; Doha, Qatar; and Mumbai, India. In addition to her global consulting work, she served on the faculty at the University of New Mexico. A prolific writer on ethics and healthcare management, Perry made a lasting impact on the field. In 2011, she became the first woman to receive ACHE’s Lifetime Service Award.
