Dylan Blackburn serves as a director for MultiCare Health System in Tacoma, Washington, a 12-hospital not-for-profit health system. In his current role, Blackburn leads initiatives across the medical groups and population health team focused on improving access to care, working at the direction of the president of MultiCare Connected Care and the Chief Operating Office of System Medical Groups. Prior to MultiCare, Blackburn worked as a project manager for Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. In this capacity, Blackburn supported hospital operations through business improvement initiatives in ambulatory specialty care and supply chain management. He was heavily involved in the logistics of the COVID-19 response the organization mounted. Blackburn has been involved with the Washington State Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives, serving as past president of the Asian Health Leaders Forum and serving on the Board of Directors as chair of the Programs Committee and chair of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. He is currently the chapter’s president-elect. Outside of work, Blackburn enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and his six-year-old pup, hiking, camping, swimming, cooking and playing guitar.
