Donna Young is the director of key performance indicators for Health Systems at Quest Diagnostics. She spearheads initiatives to standardize operational metrics that drive data-based decision making, and she works closely with Health Systems stakeholders to assure the delivery of quality, operational excellence and optimal patient care.

Young became a member of the Quest Diagnostics team in 2018. She represented the Southeast region as directory of quality before transitioning to Professional Laboratory Services in 2020 as a post implementation manager, where she led projects to unify operations and improve laboratory efficiency throughout managed hospital laboratories.

Young developed her career in Pennsylvania at Geisinger Health System. She has extensive and diverse background in the clinical laboratory including outreach, customer service, transplant and apheresis services, leadership and quality management. The Geisinger laboratory system encompasses large hospital core facilities, regional rapid response laboratories and numerous physician office and point-of-care testing sites.

Young is currently preparing to sit for the FACHE^® exam. In her spare time, she enjoys being a grandmother, scuba diving and fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.
