Cynthia Kivland is president, Smart2Smarter Coaching and Professional Services in Chicago. Ms. Kivland brings 25 years of accomplished human resource and leadership development experience to her roles as coach, consultant and trainer for leaders and teams. She is the author of Smart2Smarter: Seven Positive Emotions Every Employer Wants. She is also director of Coaching and Professional Services at the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Liautaud Institute. She holds a master’s degree in counseling from Northern Illinois University.
