Cynthia Kivland is founder/CEO of The Smart2Smarter Group, a coaching and organizational development firm dedicated to bringing humility, humanity and heart into the workplace.

 

Ms. Kivland has trained more than 100 coaches/organizational consultants through a positive leadership group coaching process. She designs and facilitates leadership retreats for leaders and cross functional teams. These retreats often explore and create actionable plans to sustain change initiatives, optimize strengths and celebrate emotionally intelligent leaders and teams.

 

Ms. Kivland has served as ACHE faculty for more than 18 years. She is an international expert on emotional intelligence, authoring several book chapters and magazine articles. She is author of Smart2Smarter, Seven Emotional Skills Every Leader Needs, and co-author and architect of the EI HabitMaker System, an evidence-based social learning process to develop leadership habits that increase social charisma, positive emotional contagion and an inspirational coaching mindset aligned with relationship-based cultures.
