Biography

Angela is a healthcare leader, coach and collaborator who is passionate about improving experience and outcomes by engaging clinical and operational leaders on innovative process and technology changes. Her passion for healthcare improvement is cemented firmly in her experience as the advocate and care navigator for her mom (oncology) and daughter (prematurity). As a young millennial female healthcare leader, whose ethnicity and origin have ties to India, Nigeria, Canada, and America, Angela also believes in gently and peacefully influencing an inclusive and equitable culture for all.

For over a decade, Angela has engaged healthcare cross-functional teams with a strong focus on clinical quality improvement, performance excellence, project management and clinical analytics. In her current role at a local healthcare system in the Dallas-Fort Worth region, she advances patient care and employee engagement using the lens of improvement and analytics. Angela holds a Master’s degree in Health Finance and Management from Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. She thrives on connecting healthcare leaders via her engagement with the Asian Healthcare Leaders Community NTX, ACHENTX Education Committee, and the DFWHC Performance Improvement committee. In recognition of her leadership contributions, she was recognized as 2022 ACHE of NTX’s Emerging Leader, and in 2023, she received the DFW Hospital Council’s System Employee of the Year award!

Angela’s world revolves around her family, her husband, their 11 year old daughter, 8 year old son and two dogs, Spot and Snow! Her all-time favorite quote is by Dr. Nelson Mandela, “I never fail. I am either winning or learning”.
