Save the Date: The New York Cluster Is Aug. 7–10
The challenges today’s healthcare leaders face are manifold; addressing workforce issues, driving quality and performance, and navigating the current regulatory landscape are just a few. This summer, join ACHE’s New York Cluster to gain the knowledge and skills needed to meet today’s most pressing challenges. From Monday, Aug. 7, to Thursday, Aug. 10, you can choose from a selection of intensive one-day programs and interactive two-day seminars that dive deep into the topics that impact your day. Maximize your education by selecting multiple sessions and earn up to 24 ACHE Face-to-Face Education credits toward FACHE® advancement or recertification. When you leave the Big Apple, you’ll be equipped with new perspectives, best practices, tactics and solutions you can immediately implement in your own organization. Following are a selection of seminars you can choose from:
One-Day Seminars (6 ACHE Face-to-Face Education credits)
- Gain skills to lead purposefully and effectively during “Cracking the Healthcare Leadership Code: How Purpose, Humility, and Accessibility Can Transform Your Organization” (Aug. 8).
- When you attend “Collaborative Negotiations for Health Care Providers and Leaders” (Aug. 10), you’ll review common negotiation strategies with a focus on collaboration and practice skills learned through interactive, case-based, small group exercises.
Two-Day Seminars (12 ACHE Face-to-Face Education credits)
- “Leadership for Cost-Saving, Climate-Smart and Quality Healthcare” (Aug. 7–8) will provide an overview of resilient and sustainable healthcare delivery and equip participants with tangible opportunities to deploy cost-saving and quality-improvement solutions. Participants will also gain access to an invitation-only quarterly roundtable with ACHE and The Global Consortium on Climate and Health Education at Columbia University.
- During “More Than Words: Leveraging Governance and Partnerships to Advance Health Equity” (Aug. 9–10), participants will discover key opportunities to partner with community groups, public health departments, major employers and health plans as an integral part of their health equity playbook.
