Student Discount on Course Texts from HAP
Most HAP textbooks offer instructor resources that include these timesaving materials:
- Test banks
- PowerPoint slides
- Teaching tips
- Discussion questions and answers
Watch for instructor resource samples, available on specific book detail pages, to assist in making text adoption decisions. Note sample resources are for instructor use only.
Requesting Instructor Resources
After adopting a HAP book, request the available instructor supporting materials. Note instructor resources do not automatically appear in the instructor portal. Access requires an email to hapbooks@ache.org with the following information:
- Book title
- Instructor name, department, and school
- Course title and season/year course will be taught
- Course level (i.e., graduate, undergraduate, continuing education) and expected enrollment
- How text will be used (i.e., primary, supplemental, or recommended reading)
- Contact name and phone/email to verify instructor employment
- Campus bookstore name and contact information for a bookstore employee
Once a request is verified, HAP sends a confirmation email with a link to the portal. Click the link, then follow these steps to view and download the supporting materials:
- Log into your MyACHE account.
- Click “My Instructor Resources” under the “Helpful Links” toolbar on the right side of the screen.
- Each requested book will appear on the My Instructor Resources page.
