Corinne Fantz, PhD

Corinne Fantz, PhD, is the chief medical partner for Core Laboratory and Point of Care at Roche Diagnostics. She leads a team of talented scientists and clinicians who set the medical strategy for specific disease areas across the Core Lab and POC portfolios. Corinne received her PhD in biochemistry from the University of South Carolina and then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical chemistry at Washington University in St. Louis. With more than 25 years of experience in laboratory medicine, improving patient outcomes has always been her passion. Her academic career was focused on quality measures and implementing processes that decrease costs and improve care, while her professional career in industry is focused on delivering innovative diagnostic solutions that lead to better patient outcomes. Corinne is a board certified, clinical chemist who supports the profession by participating as an active member of the American Association for Clinical Chemistry.
