Emily Allinder Scott, FACHE, serves as the senior vice president/chief transformation officer for BayCare Health System in Clearwater, Fla. Her work is centered on creating a streamlined system of care that provides the right care, at the right time, in the right location and at the right cost.

Emily has extensive experience in clinical governance, value-based care, physician organization and care delivery site operations, service line leadership, business growth and development, population health and performance improvement. She has a passion for partnering with providers to enhance the quality and efficiency of patient care.

Prior to her time at BayCare, Emily spent eight years in Texas at Baylor Scott & White Health in Dallas and Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston. She served in progressive positions as the vice president, clinical integration; vice president, clinical transformation; and vice president, accountable care organization; and administrative leadership of hospital-based providers. During her tenure, MHHS saved more than $100 million through clinical care redesign and was the No. 1 cost-saving Medicare Shared Savings Program Accountable Care Organization in the country for three consecutive years. Prior to MHHS, Emily served six years in progressive leadership positions, at Saint Luke’s Health System in Kansas City, Mo.

A native of Independence, Mo., Emily graduated with honors from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and earned a Master of Health Administration from The Ohio State University. She completed her administrative fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. Emily is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
