This webinar will explore innovative approaches to emergency preparedness for health systems facing natural disasters, with a particular focus on hurricane response. Drawing from Kindred Healthcare’s experience in preparing and responding to hurricanes in Tampa Bay, FL, moderators will delve into how a robust safety culture and strategic partnerships can significantly enhance disaster readiness and recovery efforts.

Health leaders will learn how to leverage the power of their real estate and facilities teams to rapidly mobilize critical vendors, tap into broader support networks during crises. This session will discuss scalable solutions that protect patients and caregivers as well as the physical environment, while maintaining safety, comfort and compliance. This webinar will share best practices that can be adopted across various healthcare settings to drive transformative change in emergency preparedness and response as well as the importance of world-class status updates during emergencies will also be addressed.
