Hospital and health system leaders work in environments that require exceptional performance, innovation and resilience from their teams. At the heart of achieving these goals is the cultivation of a strong, values-driven organizational culture that begins with leaders who have a clear understanding of their personal purpose. By cultivating a culture built on shared values, leaders can foster higher engagement, increased productivity, greater job satisfaction and a stronger commitment to the organization’s success. As well, leaders who live and lead with greater intentionality can unlock their fullest potential, empower their teams, propel their organizations to achieve success and deliver optimal outcomes for those they serve.

Our presenter will introduce participants to the core fundamentals of workplace culture, focusing on how aligning culture with personal purpose enables leaders to build high-performing teams. This session will equip healthcare leaders with the tools and insights to discover and define their personal values, passions and core beliefs and explore the vital role that culture, personal values and purpose play in both leadership and life.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define what culture is, understand how it is created, communicated and cultivated and be prepared to engage in strengthening culture within healthcare organizations.
  • Create a path to gaining clarity on personal purpose that will improve priority setting, time management and effectiveness as a leader of high-performing teams.
