Healthcare stands at a crossroads in deciding how medicine will be passed on to the next generation and delivered to the nation. This discussion will focus on how women healthcare leaders can make a significant and lasting impact independently and within their healthcare organizations. Attendees will learn from women physician leaders the steps they took to build their healthcare legacies and dive into effective strategies to develop a mindset and drive primed for innovation. Finally, attendees will identify a range of techniques that foster collaboration and consensus with their colleagues to ensure lasting change.

Toyin Ajayi, MD, is the co-founder/president of Cityblock Health, a tech-driven health solution addressing the complex health and social needs of diverse communities. Her extensive experience centers around optimizing healthcare delivery to Medicare- and Medicaid-eligible patients. Redonda G. Miller, MD, is the president of The Johns Hopkins Hospital and brings a passion for quality care and improving health equity for patients and the local community. Under her leadership, Johns Hopkins has been recognized for patient-centered care and clinical and nursing excellence. The session will be moderated by Fayola Edwards-Ojeba, MD, founder/CEO of RechargedMD, an agency that partners with healthcare organizations to create sustainable internal wellness programs that help combat physician burnout.
