Virtual Board of Governors Exam Review Course
The Board of Governors Examination in Healthcare Management (BoG Exam) is a comprehensive multiple-choice exam testing 10 core healthcare management knowledge areas. This multi-week virtual review course provides the opportunity to gain insight and information into all 10 core knowledge areas; explore effective test-taking strategies; review sample test questions; and gain a better understanding of the exam’s content, structure and scoring.
Whether you use the course to set the foundation for your study or take it as the culmination of your review efforts, upon completion of this virtual review course, attendees will be able to:

- Apply test-taking strategies to their exam experience.

Assess Your Knowledge: Pre- and Post-Course Practice Exams Included
Two practice exams are included in your registration, to reinforce your knowledge and boost your confidence as you prepare for success.
In the weeks before the course begins, you'll take a pre-test to identify the Knowledge Areas that need your focus. Upon completing the course, you'll take a post-test to gauge your progress and readiness for the exam. You will have 60 days or one attempt to complete each practice exam, whichever comes first.

Why Take the Exam?
Passing the BoG Exam is the final step on the path to becoming board certified as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. With the FACHE credential after your name, you demonstrate your competence, credibility and dedication to healthcare management excellence.
To be authorized to take the BoG Exam, you must first complete the FACHE application. Click here for a list of Fellow advancement requirements.
Note: You may enroll in the virtual BoG Exam Review Course prior to completing a Fellow application.
Cancellation
To cancel your course registration, please notify the Customer Service Center, at contact@ache.org at least 10 business days before the start of the program for a refund or credit, less a $75 processing fee. After that time, a refund or credit is forfeited.
Continuing Education Credit
ACHE Virtual Interactive Education Credit
This activity is eligible for up to 14 ACHE Virtual Interactive Education credits toward earning or maintaining your FACHE credential.
Interprofessional Continuing Education Credit
In support of improving patient care, the American College of Healthcare Executives is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Continuing Education for Dietitians
The American College of Healthcare Executives designates this knowledge-based activity for a maximum 14 contact hours of continuing education credit for Registered Dietitians and Dietetic Technicians, Registered. RDs and DTRs should enter activities offered by jointly accredited providers as type 102 on Professional Development Portfolio (PDP) activity logs. CPEUs awarded must be commensurate with participation in the activity.
Physician Associate/Physician Assistant Continuing Education
The American College of Healthcare Executives has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for a maximum of 14 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
