Matt MacVey serves as vice president/CIO of Children’s National Hospital, Washington D.C. In his former role as vice president of the Bear Institute for Health Innovation, Matt drove clinical, financial and operational value for Children’s National Health System. He provides strategic leadership and facilitates innovation across the health system and for pediatrics at Cerner Corporation. Matt has successfully directed information technology service delivery and projects across the health system, leading a team of 150 health IT professionals in Washington D.C. and Kansas City-based support centers. He has a master of business administration degree from Cornell University and a master of science degree in healthcare leadership at Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences.
