This presentation will address the contextual frameworks of effective diversity and in inclusion strategies leading to equity at RWJBarnabas Health, the most comprehensive health system in New Jersey. Presenters will provide a comprehensive overview by discussing the vitality of four fundamental pillars—board/leadership engagement, clinical outcomes impacting safety, population health initiatives improving the health of our communities, employee optimization—all of which have proven to be effective in our approach.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explore the strategic framework for board and leadership diversification and engagement leading to organizational optimization and outcomes at all levels.
  • Provide insights in the implementation of practical strategies for leading and impacting clinical and equitable outcomes that are patient-centered and culturally inclusive.
