The complex and chaotic landscape facing healthcare leaders today continues with many of the same challenges that existed before the pandemic. Executives acknowledge an emerging trend of teams creating silos and going back to acting independently in a survival mode. Leadership teams and health systems must continue to develop their skills at a greater rate of change to become relevant, affordable and innovative.

Transformational leadership requires embracing ambiguity and disruption, while providing clarity for teams to deliver performance-driven outcomes interdependently. Transformational leadership requires those in charge to embrace and engage through the lens of their mission, vision and values. Transformational leaders must have a natural desire to develop and enrich the lives of others and the organization through disciplined practices, new thinking, inspiration, coaching and deep personal commitment to performance results. The most challenging new mindset for leaders is to understand that learning to practice together is a continual adaptation.

This program will:

  • Highlight a case study of transformational leadership within an integrated healthcare system.
  • Illustrate breakthrough performance with both strategic and operational outcomes, while increasing the business acumen of all.
  • Introduce an evidence-based framework to create an interdependent culture with employees, leaders, executives and the community that can deliver exceptional results and sustainable outcomes for patients and colleagues.
  • Give participants exposure to the skills and evidence-based tools for interrupting current patterns of thinking and practice.
  • Strengthen relationships across all levels in an organization, leading to increased shared leadership, accountability and movement from a fear-driven culture to a vision-directed culture that allows all to be creative, heard, included and part of the solution.

Learning Objectives:

  • Obtain applied knowledge from industry leaders to create a transformational approach to lead performance, enhance cultural change, and build a strong and resilient team.
  • Analyze and evaluate the overall business trajectory for the future and create a strategic and operational roadmap to get ahead and anticipate changes.
