Collaborative Culture as a Building Block to Business & Clinical Success
The healthcare organization of the future is collaborative. It isn’t siloed, and it isn’t political. It is driven by transparency, innovation and a communal purpose. This presentation will be a series of 15-minute talks from Northwell’s leaders in pre-hospital care and emergency medicine about some of Northwell’s most exciting projects and programs.
Presenters from Northwell Health will dive into the business and clinical sides of community paramedicine implementation, emergency telehealth, and the role of transparent and available data. Specific topics that will be covered include:
- Taking the care to the patient—emergency medical services’ revolutionary transformation.
- Capabilities versus workflows; why over-engineered workflows are not the solution.
- Improving operations by leveraging real-time data.
- Emergency medicine in the age of telehealth.
The session will conclude with a panel Q&A session to allow participants to ask questions about their own operations or dig deeper into the earlier topics.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify the values of each program and experience the interconnectedness of the work.
- Analyze collaborative work efforts that have impacts extending to the entire health system.
