A Framework for Leadership Development That Drives Results
Research indicates there is much at stake when executives transition. The business case for successful onboarding and leadership development is clear. Executives are taking bigger jobs sooner in their careers and, according to one study, many executives in new roles fail to accomplish their goals within the first 18 months. Combine these factors with the cost of executive turnover (some estimates put it at $2.7 million per executive) and the failure to successfully bring executives into new roles becomes a major and costly issue that organizations must address.
This requires an investment in leadership structures, onboarding, training and a supportive mentoring environment. This program is designed to present a road map to retain leadership and strengthen leadership talent. Attendees will learn how to develop leaders who can drive organizational health and foster a high-performing and engaged culture. The program will cover three distinct areas: creating a leadership system framework; investing in an internal leadership institute; and building the C-suite team as the chief culture officer of the organization.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify the positive impacts of leadership development training on their organization and apply leadership training tools that will improve hospital performance.
- Identify at least three tactics that can be applied to rapidly begin leadership development within their organization with limited resources.
