Today’s healthcare leaders require more than operational understanding; creating a vision and driving a culture of excellence, engagement and inclusion will be imperative for the challenges of the profession and industry. This seminar for aspiring or newly minted C-suite professionals provides insights into the primary determinants of success when leading in the rapidly changing healthcare environment.

This program helps those with executive responsibilities build skills in critical areas of leadership and management development, including organizational culture and performance, cultivating relationships with clinical staff, collaboration with trustees and community involvement. Attendees will engage in discussions with fellow participants and faculty to highlight leadership challenges and opportunities. Participants also will develop a personal leadership development plan to strengthen key leadership skills.

Learning Objectives:

• Identify key leadership skills to create a healthy organizational culture.
• Outline leadership structures that C-suite healthcare leaders must understand and embrace.
• Identify key stakeholders and their evolution in today’s complex healthcare environment (physicians, governance, clinicians, communities, government, policy makers, etc.)
• Develop a Personal Leadership Development Plan and outline the components of a Leadership Development Plan for their organization.
