Optimizing the Roles of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners
With healthcare undergoing rapid and revolutionary change, there has been a significant rise in the utilization of physician assistants and nurse practitioners within health systems across the nation. PAs and NPs are growing and evolving positions within the medical team workforce in a variety of clinical care settings. This session will educate the audience on the roles of the PA and NP. It will reveal how both professions can impact quality, ROI and patient access in the current and future healthcare landscape. Integration and planning to interweave a staffing matrix throughout all areas of an organization involve familiarity with both professions’ capabilities as well as an understanding of how to develop a scalable goals progress team.
