Gary Yates is a former partner with Press Ganey Strategic Consulting and the founding president of Healthcare Performance Improvement (HPI) LLC. Prior to that, he was senior vice president/CMO for Sentara Healthcare, where his responsibilities included the clinical effectiveness, patient safety, physician integration and medical management initiatives for Sentara’s integrated health system. He is a board-certified family physician and currently serves on the Board of Stewardship Trustees for CommonSpirit Health.
