J. Manuel “Manny” Ocasio, FACHE, is the chief human resources officer for Luminis Health. Mr. Ocasio serves as the executive leader overseeing strategic and operational human resources plans across the health system. His responsibilities include talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee health, learning and development, and diversity and inclusion. He and his team work to build a positive culture to engage all Luminis Health employees.

Prior to joining Luminis Health, Mr. Ocasio served as the chief human resources and compliance officer and the chief human resources and integrity officer at various healthcare organizations. He has lead HR programs focused on talent acquisition and development, succession planning, compensation, organizational development, HR information systems, employee relations, and benefits design and administration.

Mr. Ocasio is a strategy and innovation PhD candidate at the International School of Management. He holds an post-master’s certificate in Information and Telecommunications Systems from Johns Hopkins University, has a Juris Doctor degree from University of Maryland School of Law and a Master of Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School.
