Rachel Polhemus is a senior partner with WittKieffer and serves on their board of directors. She has vast experience as an executive recruiter, including more than 20 years of experience at WittKieffer, combined with management consulting experience for leading healthcare and Fortune 500 firms. Based in Bethesda, Maryland, Polhemus recruits for key senior leadership roles in healthcare and the not-for-profit sector, with particular expertise in identifying CEOs and C-suite executives in the areas of strategy, operations, nursing and marketing, as well as for chair positions. Prior to joining WittKieffer, Polhemus was an associate vice president of a small healthcare consulting firm in Alexandria, Virginia. She specialized in assisting clients to assess and understand federal regulation and to implement effective compliance strategies, including HIPAA administrative simplification and program infrastructure. Earlier in her career, Polhemus spent five years as a consultant with Accenture, a leading management consulting firm in Reston, Virginia. She developed key working relationships with clients, vendors and other project team members in creating technology solutions for Fortune 500 companies and government agencies.
