Michael DeGuzman, FACHE

Biography
Mr. Michael DeGuzman is a healthcare leader in New York City with more than 20 years of experience at five large academic medical centers across the nation. DeGuzman is a Fellow of The New York Academy of Medicine and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
With a passion in public health, DeGuzman is particularly fond of his contributions to the Ryan White Planning Council, CDC and abroad with USAID. He is currently working on his Doctorate in Leadership, Advocacy and Equity at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. He serves as the 2023-2024 Chair for ACHE's Asian Healthcare Leaders Community Committee.
As a profession, DeGuzman works at the Mount Sinai Health System, the largest academic health system in New York City’s five boroughs. Reporting to the chief medical officer, he directs business operations in the service line covering 14 support areas with over 600 staff and totaling in excess of $70M in budget. Mount Sinai is a 7-hospital quaternary care medical center serving dense urban populations.
