Ethical Leadership in Uncertain Times

The half-day session will feature keynote Jack Gilbert, EdD, FACHE, discussing ethical leadership in the era of reform and a panel of healthcare executives who will explore effective, intentional and practical ways for healthcare leaders to strengthen their organization’s focus on doing the right thing.

Presented by:

Jack Gilbert, EdD, FACHE is a clinical associate professor and Director of Executive and Professional Development in the College of Health Solutions and the College of Nursing and Health Innovation at Arizona State University. He is also a Lincoln Scholar in the Lincoln Center for Applied Ethics and a contributor on ethics to Healthcare Executive magazine. Dr Gilbert will lead this seminar by sharing the outcome of his research and practice working with healthcare organization on some of their most pressing ethical issues. His key outcome is for healthcare leaders and their staff to always do the ‘right thing’ throughout their organization.

A select panel of healthcare CEOs will react to Dr. Gilbert’s remarks and share experiences related to the ethical challenges of balancing mission and margin.
