Promoting Your FACHE® Credential

 

Congratulations on becoming a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives! We know the amount of work you put into achieving this board certification in healthcare management and we applaud your remarkable accomplishment. We also appreciate your support and engagement with members in promoting the value of ACHE. Promoting your FACHE credential signals your commitment to the healthcare profession and encourages your colleagues to follow you on this journey to become a recognized leader in healthcare management.

Here are some ways for you to promote your credential:

  • Add the FACHE credential after your name on your:
    • Organization’s website
    • Email signature, business cards, letterhead
    • Social media profiles (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
    • Resume/CV

    List your highest-education degree first. The preferred order of credentials is:

    • Highest earned degree (doctoral, masters, bachelors, associate)
    • Licensure (APRN, CPA, NP, RN, RPh, RT)
    • National certifications (CPE, CRNA, NEA-BC, PMP)
    • FACHE
    • Awards and honors (FAAN, FACP, FACC, FACS, FHFMA)
      • Examples:

        • John Davis, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, FACHE
        • Susan Jones, DPT, FACHE
        • Jane Doe, SLPD, FACHE, FHFMA
        • Michael Anderson, APRN, FACHE
  • Announce your achievement on relevant social media channels.
  • Share the accomplishment with your organization’s communications/marketing and human resources departments.
  • Alert any professional organizations in which you hold membership, particularly if they have a newsletter. Also, remember to share the news with your university’s alumni association.
  • Highlight your accomplishment by displaying your FACHE certificate in your workspace. ACHE works with Framing Success to offer custom mattes, and pre-sized, customizable frames for your certificate.
  • Wear your FACHE lapel pin proudly at ACHE’s national and chapter events, and other healthcare industry activities.
  • Encourage members in your local ACHE chapter to earn the FACHE credential. Then, consider contributing to a local study group for the Board of Governors Exam.
  • Look for other volunteer opportunities within ACHE such as serving as a chapter leader, joining the career mentoring network or serving on a local or national committee.
